Flyout is a native macOS app that lives on the edge of your screen. Rest your pointer on the edge, or press ⌥⌘N, and a full rich-text editor slides out over whatever you are doing. Step away and it slides back.
Write with headings, checklists, tables and syntax-highlighted code. Add images, and emoji by typing a colon and a few letters. Attach a reminder to any single line and get a real macOS notification, with no account involved.
Organize notes into folders, and tag them with color-coded labels that cut across folders. Filter by several tags at once to narrow down to the note you actually meant. Deleted notes sit in the trash for 30 days. A widget keeps a chosen note in Notification Center, one click from opening it.
Every note is stored as plain Markdown. Sync is optional, runs through your own iCloud account, and stays off until you turn it on, so your notes never pass through anyone else's servers. Everything works offline. No account to create.
Native AppKit and SwiftUI, not Electron. Notarized. Available in English, Turkish, Spanish, French and Italian. macOS 14 and later, Apple Silicon and Intel.
One-time purchase, no subscription: $18 during launch, $24 after. 7 day free trial, no card required.
